About me:
I am a writer, a thinker, and a learner.
I was a reporter for a string of British newspapers and an agency back in the day when the philosophy was to cover all sides of a story. My career took me through three local/city papers; one regional Sunday tabloid; and an international news agency, supplying the national press from The Sun to The Daily Telegraph, as well as publications around the world, with UK news and features.
My journalism adventure let me explore my passion for the English language. It also taught me the importance of accuracy, tenacity and, above all, integrity.
As an uncle to 17 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, I realise how important it is to connect with your inner child. There’s always something new to learn; there’s always an opportunity to grow and have fun while doing so. My ongoing challenge is to master Polish – and it isn’t going well….
