Building High-Performance Teams with The 6 Types of Working Genius®
Recommended for teams working on projects, cross-functional teams, and team leaders who want to improve collaboration, role clarity, and effectiveness inside their teams.
What it’s about:
Based on The 6 Types of Working Genius® model developed by The Table Group, this tool identifies six key types of work activities where people naturally thrive or experience frustration. These include:
- Wonder (W) – Focused on asking questions and exploring possibilities,
- Invention (I) – Generating new ideas and creative solutions,
- Discernment (D) – Evaluating ideas and providing intuition-based judgment,
- Galvanizing (G) – Inspiring others and mobilizing action,
- Enablement (E) – Supporting others and helping move ideas forward,
- Tenacity (T) – Driving tasks to completion and ensuring results.
The model helps diagnose how work flows within a team and how individual strengths contribute to different stages of projects. By understanding these natural preferences, teams can clarify roles, improve collaboration, and increase overall effectiveness and performance.
By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Identify their own Genius types and areas of frustration.
- Recognize what energizes and drains them at work.
- Understand the team’s working dynamics and complementary strengths.
- Align roles and tasks with individual talents to reduce friction and burnout.
- Improve collaboration, engagement, and overall team effectiveness.
